PADMAOIL: Regarding holding of EGM
The Company has informed that it has decided to change the name of the Company to "Padma Oil PLC" from "Padma Oil Company Limited" and amendment of the related clauses of the Memorandum & Articles of Association of the Company in accordance with the Section 11(K) of the Companies Act, 1994 (2nd Amendment 2020) subject to approval of shareholders as a special Resolution in the Extra Ordinary General Meeting (EGM), to be held on January 11, 2025 at 10:00 AM, and other regulatory bodies. (Q1 Un-audited): EPS was Tk. 12.67 for July-September 2024 as against Tk. 9.24 for July-September 2023; NOCFPS was Tk. 10.85 for July-September 2024 as against Tk. (5.38) for July-September 2023. NAV per share was Tk. 244.23 as on September 30, 2024 and Tk. 231.56 as on June 30, 2024.

TUNGHAI: Inspection of the factory premises of Tung Hai Knitting & Dyeing Ltd.
A team of DSE visited the factory premises of Tung Hai Knitting & Dyeing Limited on October 21, 2024 and found the operation/production closed. The tools and machineries in the factory seemed to be non-operational/unused since long and were covered with rusts and soot.
