DESCO: BSEC consent for issuance of Irredeemable Non-cumulative Preference Share
The company has informed that the Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission vide its letter dated: 21/05/2025 received in DESCO on 25/05/2025 afternoon, accorded its consent for issuance of 23,81,299 number of Irredeemable Non-cumulative Preference Shares of Tk. 10 each at par totaling Tk. 2,38,12,998.00 in favour of Government of Bangladesh represented by Secretary, Power Division, Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources against GOB equity.

(Q3 Un-audited): EPS was Tk. (2.31) for January-March 2025 as against Tk. (0.54) for January-March 2024; EPS was Tk. (7.63) for July 2024-March 2025 as against Tk. (5.71) for July 2023-March 2024. NOCFPS was Tk. 1.96 for July 2024-March 2025 as against Tk. 0.28 for July 2023-March 2024. NAV per share was Tk. 220.63 as on March 31, 2025 and Tk. 228.26 as on June 30, 2024.

(Q1 Un-audited): Consolidated EPS was Tk. 0.61 for January-March 2025 as against Tk. 0.39 (restated) for January-March 2024.
