Referring to their earlier news disseminated by DSE on 25.08.2026, the company has further informed that the Board of Directors of the Bank, at its meeting held on 29 September 2026, has decided to cancel the EGM scheduled to be held on 04 October 2026 at 3:00 p.m. Accordingly, the EGM scheduled to be held on 04 October 2026 at 3:00 p.m. shall not be held. NRBBANK: Board approval regarding issuance of NRB Bank 1st Subordinated Bond
The company has informed that the Board of Directors of the company in its 229th Meeting held on 28 September 2026 approved the issuance of "NRB Bank 1st Subordinated Bond". The proposed bond will be Unsecured, Non-convertible, Fully Redeemable, Coupon-Bearing, Floating Rate, Subordinated Bond of BDT 300 Crore (BDT Three Hundred Crore), with a tenure of 07 years through private placement. It will be issued to strengthen the Bank's Tier-II capital base, subject to approval of the Regulatory Authorities.
